FARAH, Afghanistan -- At least 21 people lost their lives and six others were injured as heavy rain and flash floods hit western Afghanistan's Farah province, a local official reported on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI -- At least five Hindu devotees were killed and several others injured early Tuesday when a herd of wild elephants attacked them inside a forest area in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, local media reported.

ANKARA -- Türkiye's renewable energy installed capacity has reached nearly 60 percent of the total electricity capacity as of Sunday, according to a report by the semi-official Anadolu Agency on Tuesday.
