GAZA/JERUSALEM -- Israel and Hamas have reached an agreement on the exchange of the bodies of dead hostages for the release of more than 600 Palestinian prisoners, Palestinian and Israeli sources said Wednesday.

DAMASCUS -- At least 12 people, including military personnel and civilians, were killed on Wednesday in a series of Turkish airstrikes targeting the Shaddadi countryside of Syria's Al-Hasakah province, according to the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
