SYDNEY, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- A teenager has been hospitalized after being stabbed in the neck and left at a train station north of Sydney.
Police said on Friday that emergency services were called to reports of an assault at a home in the coastal town of Woy Woy, about 45 kilometers north of Sydney, at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday. Officers were told an 18-year-old male had been stabbed in the neck and taken to a nearby train station.
Ambulance paramedics attended the train station and located the man.
He was treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital where he remained in a critical condition on Friday morning.
A police statement said that a 24-year-old man was arrested following inquiries on Thursday night and taken to a local police station for questioning before he was released pending further investigations. Enditem
