KABUL, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- A commuter was killed and eight others sustained injuries in a road crash in Afghanistan's eastern Nuristan province on Thursday, state-owned news agency Bakhtar reported Friday.
The deadly accident occurred when a car overturned due to reckless driving in the Norgram district of Nuristan on Thursday evening, leaving one dead on the spot and eight others injured, some in critical condition, the report added.
The injured were transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.
