JERUSALEM, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Seventeen people, including 11 children, were injured Saturday in a fire that broke out in a two-story house in northeastern Israel's city of Tiberias, Israel's Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue service said in a statement.
The Tzafon Medical Center near Tiberias, which received the injured, said five people, including three children, were in moderate condition, while the rest in mild condition.
Video footage posted on the Israeli news website Ynet showed two people jumping from a window of the second floor of the house.
The MDA identified them as a 40-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl, both of whom sustained moderate injuries from the jump.
Israel's National Fire and Rescue Authority said the first floor of the building was completely burned, and the trapped have been rescued from the second floor. Enditem
