JERUSALEM -- The Israeli military said on Tuesday that the naval commander of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Forces had been killed in an airstrike in southern Lebanon.

RAMALLAH -- The Israeli army on Tuesday killed a senior Qassam Brigades commander and another Palestinian during a large-scale military operation in the eastern neighborhood of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
According to Palestinian security sources and eyewitnesses, the Israeli forces, backed by large reinforcements, surrounded several residential buildings in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, which led to violent clashes that resulted in the killing of Aysar al-Saadi and another young man. ADEN, Yemen -- Yemen's Houthi forces announced Tuesday that they successfully intercepted a U.S. MQ-9 reconnaissance drone over the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah.
Yahya Sarea, the Houthi military spokesperson, said on the social media platform X that the drone was downed while "violating Yemeni airspace and conducting hostile operations" in Hodeidah province. (Yemen-Houthis-US Drone)

CAIRO -- Arab leaders approved on Tuesday an Egyptian reconstruction plan for Gaza, which is estimated to cost 53 billion U.S. dollars and aims to avoid displacing Palestinians from the enclave.
The plan was accepted at the closing of the emergency Arab summit held in Cairo with full support from participating Arab leaders.
The summit also agreed to form a non-factional technocratic committee to administer Gaza for at least six months under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority. (Egypt-Arab Summit-Gaza) Enditem
