MONTEVIDEO, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Uruguay manager Marcelo Bielsa has included uncapped pair Alan Matturro and Randall Rodriguez in a provisional squad for World Cup qualifiers against Argentina and Bolivia, the Uruguayan football association said on Tuesday.

Matturro has been in impressive form for Genoa in Italy's Serie A this season while Rodriguez is one of four goalkeepers named as incumbent Sergio Rochet struggles to recover from a knee injury.

As expected, the 36-strong list includes Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez, Napoli left-back Mathias Oliveira and Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez.

Uruguay will meet Argentina in Montevideo on March 21 and Bolivia in El Alto four days later.

Bielsa's side is currently second in the 10-team South American group with 20 points from 12 qualifiers, five points behind leader Argentina. Enditem
