MADRID, March 5 (Xinhua) -- Four people lost their lives in the early hours of Wednesday morning in a serious traffic accident in the Navarre region of northern Spain, local police reported.
The accident occurred at approximately 4 a.m. local time (0300 GMT) on the N-113 road near the small town of Fitero, when two container trucks collided head-on.
Among the victims were two men, aged 47 and 41, originally from Bulgaria but residing in southern Spain, who were in the truck traveling toward Pamplona. The other two victims, citizens of the Czech Republic aged 46 and 47, were in the vehicle heading in the opposite direction.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident. Enditem
