AMMAN, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Jordan will host a meeting of Syria's neighboring countries on Sunday to discuss cooperation on combating terrorism, drug and arms smuggling, and other shared challenges.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said the meeting would explore ways to support the Syrian people in rebuilding their country to ensure its unity, sovereignty, security, and stability, while addressing terrorism.
Discussions will also cover the voluntary return of Syrian refugees, according to the statement.
The meeting will be attended by foreign ministers, defense ministers, chiefs of staff, and intelligence directors from Jordan, Türkiye, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon, it added. Enditem
