ALMATY, March 7 (Xinhua) --The National Bank of Kazakhstan has revised its GDP growth forecast for 2025-2026 to 4.2-5.2 percent, the central bank's press service reported on Friday.

"Economic growth projections for 2025 and 2026 have been slightly lowered to 4.2-5.2 percent. The revision is due to several factors, including the government's reduced forecast for oil production," the National Bank stated.

At the same time, the press service noted that strong domestic demand and a recovering oil sector will continue to support economic growth in 2025-2026.

In November last year, the National Bank projected that, under the baseline scenario, Kazakhstan's economy would expand by 4.5-5.5 percent in 2025 and by 4.6-5.6 percent in 2026.

According to the World Bank's projections, Kazakhstan's GDP will grow by 4.7 percent in 2025 and by 3.5 percent in 2026. Enditem
