JERUSALEM -- Israel will send a delegation to Qatar's capital Doha on Monday to advance negotiations for renewing the ceasefire in Gaza and securing the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, according to a statement issued by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office on Saturday.

RIYADH -- Syria's membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was reinstated, the OIC announced in a statement on Saturday.

BEIRUT/JERUSALEM -- One person was killed and another critically injured on Saturday in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media and sources.
