AYBAK, Afghanistan, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Police discovered arms and ammunition in northern Afghanistan's Samangan province on Sunday, the provincial police office said in a statement.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a place in Ali Khil area of Darai Suf Payin district and discovered a pistol, three anti-personnel mines and some other military equipments, the statement said. Enditem
