WASHINGTON, March 11 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, plans to visit Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
Witkoff planned to travel this week for what would be his second trip to Russia as Trump's envoy, said the report, which did not specify the exact time of his trip but noted that it would coincide with the talks between Ukrainian and U.S. officials in Saudi Arabia.
According to previous reports, after Witkoff made an unannounced visit to Russia in February, Russia released a U.S. citizen who had been detained for three years. Enditem
