WINDHOEK, March 12 (Xinhua) -- The Namibia Football Association (NFA) on Wednesday congratulated Patrice Motsepe on his re-election as President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), highlighting the importance of his leadership for the continent's football development.
NFA President, Robert Shimooshili, expressed his enthusiasm following Motsepe's re-election at the CAF 14th Extra-Ordinary General Congress.
"The Namibia Football Association proudly congratulates Patrice Motsepe on his election as CAF President. His dedication and passion for the beautiful game are truly inspiring," he said.
Shimooshili said he looks forward to working closely with Motsepe and the CAF to develop and elevate football across the continent.
Motsepe was re-elected unopposed for another four-year term at the CAF 14th Extraordinary General Congress held in Cairo on Wednesday. Enditem
