LONDON, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Two-time Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen suffered an opening round exit at the All England Badminton Championships on Wednesday, as the Dane lost to Lin Chun-Yi of Chinese Taipei 19-21, 21-13, 21-11.

Axelsen, 31, had won all three previous meetings with Lin, but admitted he was not in his best form this time.

"If I don't play my best, everyone can win against me," the two-time All England champion was quoted by the tournament's official website.

"I got tense when my body was feeling bad and it affected my entire game. But no excuse for me, I lost to a better opponent and I think there is longer break waiting for me at this point, and I'll see if I can get my body back on track," added the men's single's fourth seed.

In the men's doubles, China's third seeds Wang Chang and Liang Weikeng were beaten by Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani of Indonesia 21-17, 22-20.

Wang and Liang's teammates Bo Yangchen and Yi Liu were also defeated by an Indonesian pair as they were edged by defending champions Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto 21-17, 15-21, 21-17.

Tokyo Olympic champion Chen Yufei cruised into the women's last 16 round after beating Line Kjaersfeldt of Denmark 21-10, 21-18.

The 27-year-old Chinese took a break after being held off in the quarterfinals at last year's Paris Olympic Games and only returned to international stage last month.

"I feel more relaxed on court at the moment," said Chen. "I won't put pressure on myself and I could enjoy the matches more." Enditem
