GAZA -- Forty-eight bodies of the victims killed in previous Israeli attacks were recovered from Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, said Gaza's Civil Defense on Thursday.
"The bodies had been buried within the walls of Al-Shifa Hospital during the war," the civil defense said in a press statement, adding that rescue and medical teams have begun transporting these bodies to official cemeteries. (Gaza Strip-Israeli Strikes-Bodies)

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened a 200-percent tariff on French and European Union (EU) alcoholic products unless the EU removes its 50-percent tariff on American whiskey.

CAIRO -- At least eight persons were killed and 12 others wounded after a microbus was hit by a train in northeastern Egypt's Ismailia province on Thursday, according to a statement from the Health Ministry.

MOSCOW -- The Russian military operation to retake the Kursk region from Ukrainian armed forces entered its final stage, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.
