LOS ANGELES, March 13 (Xinhua) -- NASA and SpaceX are targeting Friday to launch the agency's Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS), after the launch attempt was scrubbed on Wednesday due to technical issues.

The mission was previously scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday Eastern Time, from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

But the launch was called off due to a hydraulic system issue with a ground support clamp arm for the Falcon 9 rocket, according to NASA.

Mission managers met Wednesday evening and decided to wave off a launch attempt on Thursday, due to high winds and precipitation forecasted in the flight path of Dragon spacecraft, according to NASA.

The team is now targeting no earlier than 7:03 p.m. Friday Eastern Time for the next launch attempt.

The mission will carry four astronauts to ISS, and bring home four Crew-9 astronauts including NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore who have been stranded in space since last June. Enditem
