SANAA, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Four strikes targeted sites in the Al-Jarraf neighborhood, north of the Houthi-held Yemeni capital Sanaa on Saturday night, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
According to local residents, the strikes hit ammunition and rocket depots at a military site in the neighborhood, which is known as a stronghold of the Houthi leadership and its supporters. Plumes of white smoke were seen rising from the area, witnesses added.
U.S. President Donald Trump said on social media that he has ordered the U.S. military to launch "decisive and powerful military action" against the Houthi militia in Yemen.
There were no immediate reports of casualties, as Houthi media rarely disclose information about their losses.
The group earlier reported that the explosions were "aggression strikes on Sanaa," but has not yet provided further details. Enditem
