BANGKOK, March 16 (Xinhua) -- The Serbian men's team and the Canadian women's team emerged victorious at the inaugural FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup 2025 on Sunday.

In the men's final, Serbia, a dominant force in 3x3 basketball, faced off against the Netherlands in a tightly contested match. The two teams were tied at 16-16 in the final minute, but a foul by the Dutch side sent Serbia to the free-throw line in the closing seconds. Serbia seized the opportunity, clinching a narrow 17-16 victory to claim the title.

The women's final was equally intense, with Canada and Spain locked in a fierce battle. Canada edged ahead in the final moments, securing a 15-13 win to take home the trophy.

Australia claimed two bronze medals, as both their men's and women's teams triumphed in their respective third-place matches.

China's women's team, entering the competition as the top seed, fell short of advancing to the final four, managing only one win in the group stage. Enditem
