The newcomers are forward Pablo Suarez, midfielder German Barbas, midfielder Erico Cuello, defender Patricio Pacifico, center-back Paolo Calione and winger Lucas Agazzi, all from local clubs.

As expected, Bielsa also called up Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez, Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur and Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo.

Uruguay will meet Argentina in Montevideo on Friday and Bolivia in El Alto next Tuesday.
