KABUL -- Torkham border, a major crossing point linking Afghanistan to Pakistan, was partially reopened on Wednesday for commercial goods and freight trucks after being closed for nearly a month, the local media outlet Tolonews reported.

WELLINGTON -- Chinese research icebreaker Xuelong 2, or Snow Dragon 2, opened its decks to the public on Tuesday at Lyttelton Harbor in Christchurch, New Zealand, attracting around 600 visitors, including local officials and members of the public.

SEOUL -- The South Korean police planned to mobilize all available riot police across the country on the day when the constitutional court decides whether to impeach President Yoon Suk-yeol over his botched martial law imposition, Yonhap news agency said Wednesday.
