MANILA, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Fire broke out in the Philippine capital on Thursday afternoon, killing three people and injuring four others, the Philippine Bureau of Fire Protection said.
The bureau said a senior couple and another male died from the fire that started around 1:22 p.m. local time in Tondo District in Manila City, razing six houses to the ground and affecting over 50 residents.
It took firefighters two hours to put out the fire.
The bureau is still investigating the cause of the incident. Enditem
