KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Diversification of manufacturing bases and maintaining high-quality manufactured products will enable the glove sector to overcome trade disruptions resulting from the policies of the U.S. administration, Malaysia's leading glove maker said here on Thursday.

Top Glove founder and executive chairman Lim Wee Chai told Xinhua that gloves are essential for a variety of sectors, and high-quality products will give the company an edge.

"We have to be open-minded and contribute positively to the global system," he added.

For his part, marketing director Lim Jin Feng said that the company has long recognized the importance of diversifying its manufacturing base to resist geopolitical shocks. Enditem
