SEOUL, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Price for goods and service among South Korean suppliers was unchanged last month, central bank data showed Friday.
The producer price index (PPI) made no change in February compared with the previous month, after going up for the past three months, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
Price for agricultural, livestock and fishery products among suppliers rose 0.4 percent on higher price for agricultural products that offset a sharp fall in livestock products price.
Agricultural products price gained 3.6 percent, but livestock products price tumbled 4.4 percent.
Producer price for industrial products, including oil products, was unchanged in February on a monthly basis.
Price for coal and oil products slipped 0.4 percent, but chemical products price gained 0.3 percent.
Price for electricity, natural gas and tap water stood unchanged in February from a month earlier.
No change was made in service price due to higher expense for the eatery and lodging and the real estate services that offset lower cost for the transport and the finance and insurance services. Enditem
