4.1-magnitude quake hits southern Mongolia

ULAN BATOR, March 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 jolted the southern Mongolian province of Umnugovi at 3:19 pm local time on Friday, the country's Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics said.

The epicenter of the quake was 38 km to the southwest of Khankhongor soum (administrative subdivision) of Umnugovi province in Mongolia, was initially determined to be at 43.52 degrees north latitude and 104.15 degrees east longitude, the institute said in a statement. Enditem.
