KABUL, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Nearly 1,100 Afghan youth have been commissioned to the national army of Afghanistan after three months of military training, the state-owned Bakhtar news agency reported Saturday.

All 1,080 graduates received their certificates at a graduation ceremony held in a military compound and vowed to serve the country under any circumstances, the report added.
