KABUL -- Five people were killed after their vehicle veered off the road and turned turtle in northern Afghanistan's Takhar province, state-owned Bakhtar News Agency reported Wednesday.

JAKARTA -- A train collided with a car in Sukoharjo regency, Central Java province, Indonesia on Wednesday, killing four people and injuring three others, officials said.
The accident occurred at a railroad crossing on Pasarnguter Street. All victims were immediately transported to DKR Sukoharjo Hospital, said Feni Novida Saragih, public relations coordinator for operational area 6 of Indonesia's state railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia. KAMPALA -- Severe flooding caused by torrential rains in Uganda's capital, Kampala, on Wednesday morning has claimed the lives of two children, with fears of further casualties, a humanitarian relief agency reported.
