BANGKOK -- Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra survived a no-confidence vote in parliament on Wednesday after securing enough support among the lawmakers to remain in office.

JAKARTA -- A train collided with a car in Sukoharjo regency, Central Java province, Indonesia on Wednesday, killing four people and injuring three others, officials said.
The accident occurred at a railroad crossing on Pasarnguter Street.
