ATHENS, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Virtual reality (VR), electric vehicles, and centuries-old cultural traditions came together at the Chinese Embassy in Athens on Wednesday, where more than 150 Greek university students and young professionals experienced firsthand China's technological innovations and cultural heritage.
The event, co-organized by the Chinese Embassy and a Greek platform promoting dialogue between industry leaders, students, and young professionals, underscored growing academic ties between China and Greece.
The participants explored state-of-the-art VR headsets, sleek electric vehicles, and the latest smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices presented by leading Chinese tech companies.
Beyond technology, the event also featured traditional Chinese calligraphy, painting, music, and authentic cuisine.
Evangelia Manousaki, a political science and international relations major at the University of the Peloponnese, said she was "enthralled" by the experience. Dimitris Tsoutsas, a business management student at the University of Patras, was particularly impressed by the virtual reality displays. Enditem
