NEW DELHI, March 30 (Xinhua) -- At least six people, including three women, died and more than a dozen were injured when a landslide struck India's northern hilly state of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, confirmed a senior local official.
According to him, the landslide occurred in Manikaran area of the state's Kullu district at around 4:30 p.m.
"The area has been cleared. Six dead bodies have been recovered, and their identity is being ascertained," said Additional District Magistrate Ashwani Kumar.
Those injured were admitted to a local hospital. Enditem
