WARSAW, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Poland and the United States on Monday signed a nearly 2-billion-U.S. dollar agreement for logistical and technical support for Polish Patriot systems at the military base in Sochaczew.

The agreement includes the delivery of logistical support for the Patriot systems, currently being implemented in the Polish Armed Forces, and will include elements of technical support and training.

In 2025, Poland will allocate 4.7 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) to defense, according to the country's 2025 budget, up from 4.2 percent in 2024. This makes Poland a leading nation within NATO and the European Union in defense spending. Enditem
