VIENTIANE, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Laos is exploring the feasibility of implementing an application in its public transport system to enhance efficiency and provide passengers with modernized services for easier trip planning.

The Vientiane Capital State Bus Enterprise will collaborate with its partner to assess the feasibility of transforming public bus services in Lao capital Vientiane, with the goal of modernizing the system, enhancing passenger convenience, reducing costs, and making travel easier for workers, students, and the general public, the local Pasaxon newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The initiative aims to provide real-time bus tracking and navigation services, offering passengers detailed information on bus routes, stations, parking, and more. It is designed to help passengers plan their journeys, manage time, and make informed travel decisions.
