The opening ceremony was attended by Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, government ministers, provincial officials, and representatives from the public and private sectors.

In his speech, Lao Minister of Technology and Communications Boviengkham Vongdara highlighted the rapid development of digital technology, which has become a driving force for global socio-economic progress.

Additionally, Boviengkham noted the government's ongoing efforts to integrate technology into public administration and services while the private sector increasingly shifts online.

To support this transformation, the government has set out a national digital transformation strategy focusing on digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
