JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Wednesday that the military is seizing additional territory in southern Gaza to establish a new security corridor for Israel.

DAMASCUS -- Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Wednesday evening, targeting multiple locations across Syria, including the outskirts of the capital Damascus, as well as areas near the Hama and Homs provinces, according to Syrian state media.
SANA, the country's official news agency, reported that Israeli strikes hit the vicinity of the Scientific Research Center building in the Barzeh district of Damascus. Additional strikes reportedly targeted the outskirts of the central city of Hama. (Israel-Syria-Attacks)

GAZA/JERUSALEM -- At least 19 Palestinians, including nine children, were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a UN clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza on Wednesday, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported.
