SEOUL -- South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol was ousted from office Friday as the constitutional court upheld a motion by the parliament to impeach Yoon over his short-lived martial law imposition last December.

KABUL -- At least 30 people were killed and 155 others injured in road accidents across Afghanistan since the start of the Eid al-Fitr holiday that ended on Wednesday, said a statement of the country's General Directorate of Traffic Police released on Friday.
According to the statement, a total of 80 road accidents occurred across Afghanistan in the period, killing 30 commuters, including two women and nine children, and injuring 155 others. (Afghanistan-Road Accidents)

TASHKENT -- The first Central Asia-EU summit, chaired by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was held in the Uzbek city of Samarkand on Friday, according to the presidential press service.
