KABUL, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Three commuters were killed and five others sustained injuries as a car plunged into a ravine in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province on Monday, provincial police spokesman Mawlawi Shir Ahmad Burhani said.
The deadly mishap took place on a road in Sheikh Jalal pass at noon, leaving three travelers dead on the spot and injuring five others, some in critical condition, the official added.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly accident, the official added that a similar mishap in the same area left six dead and injured a couple of days ago. Enditem
