MINSK, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian gold and foreign currency reserves amounted to 10.07 billion U.S. dollars, the country's central bank said on Monday.
In March 2025, gold and foreign currency reserves increased by 662.3 million U.S. dollars, or 7.04 percent, after growing by 74 million U.S. dollars (0.8 percent) in February 2025, the regulator said.
Assets in foreign currency and monetary gold occupied the largest share in the structure of international reserve assets of Belarus. The volume of foreign currency in reserves amounted to 3.31 billion U.S. dollars, having increased by 158.7 million (5.04 percent) in March 2025. The volume of monetary gold was 5.39 billion U.S. dollars, having increased by 487.3 million U.S. dollars (9.9 percent).
The Belarusian authorities determined the country's international assets should amount to no less than 7.1 billion U.S. dollars at the end of 2025. Enditem
