YANGON, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported over 2.4 million tons of rice and broken rice in the 2024-25 fiscal year, according to the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF) on Tuesday.

The country earned more than 1.1 billion U.S. dollars from the exports during the fiscal year (April 2024-March 2025).

During the period, the country exported rice and broken rice via both sea and land routes to more than 30 countries, including China, Spain, Poland, and Belgium.

In the 2023-24 fiscal year, Myanmar exported over 1.6 million tons of rice and broken rice, generating more than 845 million dollars in revenue, official data showed. Enditem
