VALLETTA, April 8 (Xinhua) -- Malta set new records for inbound tourism in the first two months of 2025, according to the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA), which described the results as "exceptional."

In February alone, Malta welcomed 210,305 international visitors -- an increase of 24.2 percent compared to the same month in 2024.

The combined performance for January and February saw 404,463 tourist arrivals, up 18.3 percent year-on-year.

This momentum follows a record-setting 2024, during which Malta attracted 3.56 million visitors, a 19.5 percent increase over the previous year. Enditem
