KABUL, April 10 (Xinhua) -- A total of 192 Afghan nationals imprisoned in Pakistani jails were set free and returned to Afghanistan on Wednesday, the state-run Radio Television of Afghanistan reported on Thursday.

This was the second batch of Afghan detainees who had been released by Pakistan over the past couple of days and repatriated to their country.

Earlier, 101 Afghan detainees were set free from Pakistani jails and repatriated to Afghanistan on Monday.

More than 2 million Afghans reportedly have been living in Pakistan, and Islamabad has asked Afghans without legal travel documents and resident permits to leave the country. Enditem
