JAKARTA -- Seven people were killed and two others seriously injured when a minivan collided head-on with a passenger bus in Gresik Regency of Indonesia's East Java province on Thursday, an official said.

The crash occurred as the two vehicles were traveling along the Panggangsampeyan Street in Gresik Regency, according to Ryno A, an official from the local disaster management and mitigation agency. (Indonesia-Traffic Accident)

MANILA -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said Thursday it has issued its first local currency education bond, raising 45.7 billion Mongolian tugrik (approximately 13.1 million U.S. dollars) to support an education project in Mongolia.
