SOFIA, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Moto Expo 2025, the leading motorcycle exhibition in Bulgaria, kicked off here on Friday to showcase the latest industry trends and boost sales.

During the four-day event at the Arena 8888 Sofia hall, global manufacturers of motorcycles, ATVs and scooters will present nearly 700 vehicles, 65 of them for the first time in the Bulgarian market.

In addition, visitors could enjoy a test ride on models like Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Benelli, Horwin, and Suzuki during the weekend.

Stanislav Panchev, chairman of the motorcycles section of the Association of Car Manufacturers and Their Authorized Representatives for Bulgaria, said at the event that motorcycle market in the country has continued its growth in recent years.

In 2024, around 3,500 new motorcycles were registered by Bulgarian authorities, an increase of around 13.5 percent compared to 2023, Panchev said. For the first three months of 2025, 645 new two-wheelers were registered.
