KHARTOUM -- More than 114 civilians were killed in attacks by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on two displacement camps over the past two days in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State in western Sudan, a local official announced on Saturday.

"More than 100 civilians were killed as a result of the brutal attack launched by the RSF militia on the Zamzam displacement camp yesterday (Friday), with dozens injured," Ibrahim Khatir, director general of North Darfur State's health authority, told Xinhua. (Sudan-Civil War-Deaths)

NEW DELHI -- At least five people died and six others were injured in a blast that took place inside a factory in India's northwest state of Maharashtra, local police confirmed on Saturday.

SANAA -- The U.S. military carried out 10 airstrikes across northern Yemen late Saturday night, targeting multiple locations, Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

GAZA -- Hamas said Saturday in a press statement that the release of Israeli hostages is conditional upon a cessation of the Israeli "hostilities" in the Gaza Strip.

"The equation is clear: the release of hostages in exchange for a cessation of hostilities. The world accepts it, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejects it," Hamas said, adding Netanyahu is prolonging the conflict and the suffering of both "Israeli captives and Palestinian civilians."
