GAZA -- At least 10 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah on Sunday, according to Gaza's Civil Defense.

Mahmoud Basal, a spokesperson for the Civil Defense, told Xinhua that seven people died in an Israeli strike on a civilian vehicle, six of them from the same family. Several others were wounded and taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, he said. (Gaza Strip-Hamas-Israel)

ULAN BATOR -- Mongolia's annual inflation rate accelerated to 9.1 percent in March, local media reported on Sunday, citing the National Statistics Office (NSO).

This figure reflects a 2.9-percentage point increase compared to the same period last year and a 0.3-percentage point increase from the previous month, the NSO said in a statement. (Mongolia-Inflation)

KIEV -- At least 21 people were killed on Sunday morning in a Russian ballistic missile attack on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy, Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement.

ANKARA -- A high-level meeting focused on Black Sea security will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Naval Forces Command headquarters in Ankara, the Turkish Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
