BUCHAREST, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Romania's Ministry of Energy has launched a 300 million euros (341.1 million U.S. dollars) grant program to support private companies in producing their own electricity.
The program requires that at least 70 percent of the energy generated be used for internal consumption, thereby reducing pressure on the national grid.
A key change in this funding round is the inclusion of agricultural and food industry firms, which were previously excluded. Enditem
