NEW DELHI -- At least three workers were killed and two others injured when a steel storage unit for pulses collapsed on them inside a mill in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place on Tuesday at the Manorma Jain Dal Mill in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation in Yavatmal, about 660 km northeast of Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra. (India-workers-deaths)

DHAKA -- The Bangladeshi interim government will constitute a powerful trade negotiating body to overcome trade related challenges as the country is set to graduate from the Least Developed Country (LDC) status next year.

JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Ministry of Forestry has ended the issuance of permits for timber extraction at the country's vast mangrove forests to protect the ecosystem and take advantage of carbon trading, an official said here on Wednesday.
