SYDNEY, April 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 181 km ESE of Kimbe, Papua New Guinea, at 0724 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 6.212 degrees south latitude and 151.639 degrees east longitude.
Currently, there is no tsunami warning triggered by the earthquake, according to the U.S. Tsunami Warning System.
Joint Australian Tsunami Warning Center also said that there is no tsunami currently affecting Australia.
No immediate reports of casualties or damage were released by authorities. Enditem
