NEW DELHI, April 21 (Xinhua) -- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Monday successfully completed the second successful docking of satellites, part of the Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) mission.
According to Jitendra Singh, federal junior minister in the Prime Minister's Office in charge of the Department of Space, the satellites were successfully docked for the first time on Jan. 16 and successfully undocked on March 13.
Further experiments are planned in the next two weeks, Singh said.
ISRO launched the SpaDeX mission on Dec. 30, 2024, using the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle with two satellites -- SDX01 and SDX02 from the launch pad of Sriharikota, off the Bay of Bengal coast, located in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Enditem
