South Korean heartthrob Jang Dong Gun, or Zhang Dongjian in
Chinese, met with fans in the eastern Chinese city of Wenzhou on
Friday.
He was enthusiastically welcomed by cheering supporters from the
Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Japan, the website sina.com
reported.
Jang worked with Chinese director Chen Kaige on the 2005
blockbuster, "The Promise," in which he played a loyal slave.
Referring to the six months he spent filming in China, the actor
said, "During the period I've been to many tourist attractions in
China which impressed me much. And I hope to have more chances to
work with Chinese directors and actors."
Later he will head for New Zealand to shoot a new
film.
