Argentine and Chinese businessmen signed 118.5 million U.S. dollars worth of commercial agreements on Friday during a visit by a Chinese delegation headed by Vice Commerce Minister Zhong Shan.
Under these agreements, Argentina would export soybean oil, frozen chicken and chicken legs to China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Import and Export Corp.
China was Argentina's second largest trading partner after Brazil with 13.5 billion dollars in bilateral trade last year. China bought 6.5 billion dollars worth of Argentine products, mainly beans and soybean oil.
From 2003 to 2008, trade between the two countries grew an average of 34 percent annually.
